Add it to an MCP client

npx -y message-cp init adds the stdio entry unless a message-cp entry exists.

Claude Code over stdio (agents on this machine):

claude mcp add message-cp -- npx -y message-cp

Claude Code over HTTP (agents on any machine; needs a running server):

claude mcp add --transport http message-cp https://message-cp.example.com/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer <token>"

Use your proxy's address plus /mcp and the agent token message-cp connect prints: the agent's whole credential, with no register or key. Run connect where Accounts says (Docker too); A team server sets up Cursor and Claude Desktop over HTTP; Agents lists agent commands.

Cursor over stdio (.cursor/mcp.json in the project, or ~/.cursor/mcp.json):

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "message-cp": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "message-cp"]
    }
  }
}

Stdio servers share one database (MESSAGE_CP_DB in Settings).
